Punch - s/t - LP 2009
Probably the greatest thrash/Fastcore album in the last five years. Before this came out I would have never guessed that there could be a band from this decade that could play music this accessible - this well. I consider this the Power-violence equivalent Album to Iron Chic's "Not Like This". In the way that they might not be doing anything new but they are just doing it all better than anyone else. Song structure, lyrics, breakdowns, signature changes and timing are all practically flawless. If you have been trying for years to get your significant other into hardcore, then this is probably your best chance. Female fronted, "youth crewy"-fastcore from the east bay area. When don't you do yourself a fucking favor?
